We were looking to have some pho located close to our hotel in Waikiki. It was rather easy to find the establishment which is right next to 7-11 convenience store. The establishment is a mom and pop kind of restaurant in a really old building.
Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted and seated. We ordered 2 seafood pho, 1 rare beef pho, and meatless pho with no veggies. We asked for steamed bean sprouts. Unless you ask, you will get them raw. The side plate with bean sprouts doesn't come with jalapeño so you'll have to ask for it.
Our food cane out within 10 minutes and it was delicious. Staff are really friendly. If you don't have a car and your hotel is located near Ala Mona, this location is definitely within easy walking distance. -

This was a difficult one to review because I don't think it was quite a 4-star, but definitely better than 3-stars.
I ordered the Dac Biet (combination) pho. The way I like to rate my Pho is, honestly, how the broth tastes before I do anything to it. I know it'll be good if I can just keep drinking the broth and be continuously satisfied lol. The only thing I like to add is lime and jalapeño in terms of flavor, and the broth here was actually pretty good compared to a few other places I've been to around here for pho. So that's good!! The meat, all good quality. Vegetables all seemed fresh and crisp. Oh- and I'm used to places bringing out jalapeño with the bean sprouts and lime, etc. but here they don't. So if you want it, just ask and they'll bring some out for you.
I also ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee. Some places bring out the full drip set up so you can mix the coffee and condensed milk yourself, which I personally like because you can see how much coffee and condensed milk you're actually getting. Here, they bring it out already mixed and ready to drink but it was still good.
It was kind of hot inside and I was dying a little bit, especially eating pho, but not too terrible. They came around an adequate number of times to refill our waters, so that's great.
And finally.. I'm not sure if I missed a sign somewhere or something.. but at the end we ended up sitting at the table waiting for a while for someone to come by or the check to come but it never did? So I think you have to just go up to the counter to pay. Which is no biggie, busy just in case anyone else is wondering and sitting there also lol. -

This place have the best Vietnamese food in Waikiki, I highly recommend it for lunch or dinner with friends or family.
all the food there is so delicious, the pho, noodles are yummy and their iced coffee it's the best.
Authentic food, excellent service, great location nice but not fancy it's just for local people. -

if you're looking for some authentic Vietnamese cuisine, this place is a must to visit! Everything is soooo mouthwatering good! it may be a small restaurant, but darn they have great food over here! What you'll experience here are some homemade goodness kind of meals! and they have excellent service too! very hospitable!
Very highly recommended! -

We came here with 5 people when the restaurant was empty so we asked if we can push two tables together to have more room for our meal. But they said NO!!! They forced all 5 of us to sit at a small table against the wall made for only 4 people in an empty restaurant!!!
The food also took forever to come out when there were no other customers. We also asked for an extra bowl to put some food and they kept bringing out this same dirty bowl with left over food in it.
When our food came out there was PUBIC HAIR in it!!! We told the waitress of this and she said it's okay Vietnamese people eat hair!!!! LOL. She then left the food at our table with PUBIC HAIR in it and walked away.
What is wrong with this place!!!!
The one star is because the meat was really tender. I just made sure I ate the food that was not touching this PUBIC HAIR.
If you go here make sure you order the com thit nuong but tell them to hold the hair.
